Sprung 40mm Premium Judo Mats - Reversible Tatami

Made for the dojo, the Sprung 40mm Premium Judo Mats give a forgiving base for throws, breakfalls and randori where the floor takes the full weight of every landing. The thick 40mm EVA foam spreads the force of hard throws and ukemi across a wider area, taking the sting out of repeated breakfalls so you can train standing work and newaza for longer with less punishment on the body. It stays stable underfoot too, so grip fighting and footwork feel solid rather than spongy.

The non-slip tatami-textured surface gives dependable traction for groundwork, transitions and scrambles, and the reversible tiles let you flip the colour to suit the club or home space. Each 1m x 1m tile is light to lift and slot together, with edge strips that peel off to switch between a straight border and an interlocking puzzle profile, so a training area lays out fast and lifts away just as easily for storage.
