Twins Special Muay Thai shorts are cut in traditional Thai sizing — short in the leg, generous in the cuff, with a high satin waistband sized for hip movement. Twins has been making these in Bangkok by hand since 1976, and the cut is built for high kicks, teeps and clinch work. Most UK customers find Twins shorts run small relative to high-street sizing and choose to size up one. Browse the full range in the Twins Special collection.
Fit tip: The chart below is the official Twins sizing guide. The length is measured from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the shorts. Sizes are given in both inches and centimetres — pick by waist first, then check the bodyweight column as a cross-reference.
| Size | Waist (in) | Waist (cm) | Length (in) | Length (cm) | Weight (kg) | Weight (lbs) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 24 | 61 | 12 | 30 | 34 - 42 | 75 - 92 |
| S | 26 | 66 | 13 | 33 | 42 - 49 | 92 - 108 |
| M | 28 | 71 | 14 | 35 | 49 - 57 | 108 - 126 |
| L | 30 | 76 | 15 | 38 | 57 - 65 | 126 - 143 |
| XL | 32 | 81 | 16 | 40 | 65 - 72 | 143 - 158 |
| XXL | 34 | 86 | 17 | 43 | 72 - 80 | 158 - 176 |
| XXXL | 36 | 91 | 18 | 46 | 80+ | 176+ |
How to measure
- Waist: Measure around your natural waistline (the narrowest point above your hip bones), wrap the tape snug but not tight.
- Length: Top of the waistband to the bottom hem — Twins run short by design for unrestricted high kicks.
- Bodyweight cross-check: Use the weight column to confirm — if your waist sits between two sizes, the weight column usually points to the cleaner fit.
UK sizing note: Twins shorts are cut for Thai sizing. Most UK customers find they run small relative to high-street sizing — if you wear a UK waist 32, the L (30") is usually a tight fit and the XL (32") gives more room around the thigh and waistband. When in doubt, size up.
We offer 30-day returns on unworn shorts with tags attached. Browse the full Twins Special collection for gloves, shin guards and ring gear.

Description
Description
The Twins Special Maze Muay Thai Shorts wrap a geometric Maze pattern around the brand's authentic Thai-cut short, cut from top-grade satin that keeps you light and cool through pad rounds and sparring. The smooth satin shell sheds sweat and holds its shape session after session.
The Maze graphic is sublimated into the side panels, so the print stays crisp and won't crack or fade with repeated washing. A traditional high-leg cut and roomy seat give your kicks and knees the clearance they need.
