Sandee Thai Metal Groin Guards are full-Thai-style protective groin cups with reinforced metal-plate frontal protection, designed for serious Muay Thai sparring. Sized XXS-M by waist with a fixed depth. Find matching MT protection in the Sandee collection.
Fit tip: Thai metal groin guards run a tight competition fit by Muay Thai tradition — the wide jacquard waistband sits snugly on the natural waist and the metal plate sits forward of the natural cup. Order to your true waist size. The straps adjust roughly +/- 3 cm per size.
| Size | Length | Width | Depth | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| XXS | 72 cm | 36 cm | 3 cm | 0.34 kg |
| XS | 74 cm | 38 cm | 4 cm | 0.34 kg |
| S | 78 cm | 42 cm | 4 cm | 0.42 kg |
| M | 84 cm | 44 cm | 4 cm | 0.56 kg |
Length is the total strap circumference; width is the frontal-plate coverage. Sandee Thai metal guards sit higher and more forward than Western boxing groin guards.
How to measure
- Waist: Wrap a flexible tape around your natural waistline where the guard's strap will sit, just above the hip bones.
Hygiene note: For hygiene reasons groin guards are non-returnable once worn. Pick carefully against the chart and contact our team if unsure. Browse the full Sandee collection for matching boxing gloves, shin guards and MT shorts.
