Leone 1947 MMA gloves and bag gloves size on palm width, not boxing-glove ounce weight. Measure the broadest part of your palm just below the knuckles (excluding the thumb) and match the reading to Leone's official palm-fit chart below.
Fit tip: a correctly sized MMA glove should hug the palm without pinching the thumb webbing or leaving the fingers loose. If you fall between two sizes, go up — the open-finger design tightens easily with the Velcro wrist strap.
Leone 1947 MMA & Bag Gloves Size Guide
| Size | Palm width (cm) |
|---|---|
| XS | under 7.5 |
| S | 7.5 - 8 |
| M | 8.5 - 9 |
| L | 9.5 - 10 |
| XL | 10.5 - 11 |
How to measure
- Open your dominant hand flat, fingers together, thumb relaxed to the side.
- Wrap a soft tape around the broadest part of the palm just below the knuckles, NOT including the thumb.
- Read the circumference and pick the size whose palm-width range matches.
- If you wrap your hands underneath your gloves, add one size up to leave room for the wrap.
Every order ships with a 30-day return window if the fit isn't right. See the full Leone 1947 collection.
