- Height: stand against a wall in bare feet and measure floor to crown — Elion's primary sizing input.
- Shin length check: measure from the centre of your kneecap to the top of your foot. A correctly-sized guard should cover this full length without overhanging.
- Calf circumference: if your calves are larger than typical for your height (over 40 cm), go up a size for comfort under the straps.
