Venum knee pads are compression and stabilising protectors designed to improve knee-joint support and absorb impact through grappling, ground transitions and MMA training. They're elastic but not adjustable — sizing is driven by the circumference of your lower thigh just above the kneecap. Knee pads are protective gear, not a medical device, and don't replace prescribed support if you're rehabbing a serious injury. Browse the protective range in the Venum collection.
Fit tip: Knee pads aren't adjustable, so measure carefully. For increased compression and tighter joint support, opt for the smaller size in your range; for lighter compression, opt for the larger.
| Size | Thigh (just above knee) |
|---|---|
| S | 14 - 14.5 in |
| M/L | 15 - 15.5 in |
| XL | 16 in |
Venum's published values are in inches — multiply by 2.54 to convert to cm if needed.
How to measure
- Thigh circumference: Stand with your knee slightly bent. Wrap a soft tape measure around your thigh roughly 10 cm (4 in) above the centre of the kneecap.
- Measure both legs: Quadriceps are often asymmetric. Use the larger measurement.
- Measure cold: If your knee swells after training, measure pre-session for the most useful baseline.
Not sure which size to pick? If you sit between S and M/L, go with M/L — tight knee pads cut circulation and get pulled off mid-round. We offer 30-day returns on unworn protective gear with tags attached. Browse the full Venum collection for matching ankle supports, shin guards and impact protection.
