Cleto Reyes High Precision Gloves Size Guide
Cleto Reyes High Precision Training Gloves run a wider weight range than the standard Hook & Loop line, with 8 oz, 10 oz, 12 oz, 14 oz, 16 oz and 18 oz options. Pick by body weight using the table below. Cleto Reyes runs slightly smaller than other major brands, so if you're between bands or have wider hands, choose the heavier weight for a comfortable fit around the knuckles with wraps on.
| Glove weight | Body weight |
|---|---|
| 8 oz | 75 – 89 lbs (34 – 40 kg) |
| 10 oz | 90 – 114 lbs (41 – 52 kg) |
| 12 oz | 115 – 136 lbs (52 – 62 kg) |
| 14 oz | 137 – 154 lbs (62 – 70 kg) |
| 16 & 18 oz | 155 lbs+ (70 kg+) |
How to choose
- Sparring — go one weight class up from your body-weight band to protect your training partner. Most adult male sparring is 16 oz.
- Pad & bag work — match the chart band, or drop one weight if you want more hand speed and have no wrist issues.
- Competition — 8 oz and 10 oz weights are intended for amateur or professional competition under sanctioning-body rules; check your federation requirements.
- Cleto Reyes fit note — these gloves are a snug Mexican professional fit. If you're between weights, take the heavier glove.
- Hand wraps — always measure with hand wraps on. Cleto Reyes gloves are sized for use with 4.5m wraps.
