Always cross-check against your foot length in millimetres rather than your usual UK size — a 270mm foot ranges from UK 9 in some models to UK 8 in others. Insole length is the source of truth.
Fit tip: Rival recommends snug, not tight. A boxing boot wants to grip the foot so you can pivot without the boot shifting on the ball or heel. If you're between two insole lengths, size up by 5mm to leave room for sock thickness.

How to measure your foot
- Stand on a sheet of A4 paper, heel pressed flat against a wall.
- Mark the very tip of your longest toe with a pen.
- Measure from the wall to the mark in millimetres.
- Take the measurement at the end of the day — feet swell with training.
- Measure both feet and use the larger number.
