Hayabusa Boxing Shoes Size Guide

Use this guide to size Hayabusa boxing shoes — Pro, Strike, Talon and Mayweather Champ models. Boxing shoes are precision footwear, not running shoes: the goal is a performance-snug fit with your longest toe close to the end of the shoe and your heel locked in place. Loose shoes kill footwork.

How to measure your foot

  • Stand on a piece of paper with your heel against a wall. Mark the tip of your longest toe and measure heel-to-mark in centimetres.
  • Measure both feet and use the larger reading.
  • If you wear socks under your boxing shoes (recommended), measure with those socks on.
  • Most Hayabusa shoes are unisex. To convert from women's sneaker sizes, subtract 1.5: a women's US 8 becomes a Hayabusa US 6.5.

3-step at-home fit test

  • Stillness: stand normally. Toes near (but not pressed against) the end of the shoe; the midfoot snug but not pinching.
  • Bounce: rock forward and back on your feet. The heel must stay locked. Any lift or slide means the shoe is too big.
  • Pivot: plant the ball of one foot and twist as if throwing a hook. Foot and shoe should move as a unit — no internal slip.

Between sizes? Size down.

Hayabusa boxing shoes break in slightly and mould to your foot. A pair that is a touch tight on day one will settle in; a pair that is loose will stay loose and cost you footwork. If you are between two sizes, take the smaller.
