Fairtex headguards are sized by head circumference in centimetres — four sizes (S, M, L, XL) cover the full adult range. A correctly-sized headguard sits firm without rocking and the eye gap aligns with your line of sight when you tuck your chin.

Measure your head circumference around the widest point — just above the eyebrows and ears, around the back of the skull.

How to measure
- Use a soft tape measure (or a piece of string you can then measure flat).
- Wrap the tape around the widest part of your head — about one finger above the eyebrows and across the bump at the back of the skull.
- Keep the tape level. Record the figure in centimetres.
- If you train with a thick beanie or compression cap under your headguard, add 1 cm to your measurement and pick the next size up.

- HG18 Mexican Sparring Headguard: closer-fitting boxing-style guard with a higher eye gap — sizes run on the snug end of the chart, size up if you're between two figures.
- Headguards stretch slightly with use as the foam compresses — pick a snug fit out of the box rather than a loose one that will get sloppy after 20 sessions.
