Fairtex Rashguard Size Guide

Fairtex rashguards are designed as compression-fit MMA, BJJ and grappling base layers — the cut sits tight to the body so it doesn't shift under a gi or fight shorts. Sizes XS through 3XL are unisex. Pick by chest circumference; the rest of the measurements are reference points for length and reach.

How to measure

  • Chest: measure around the fullest part of your chest, tape level under the arms.
  • Sleeve length: measure from the centre back of your neck, across the shoulder and down to your wrist.
  • Length: from the high point of the shoulder seam to the hem.

Fit notes

  • Rashguards are designed for compression fit — they should feel close to the skin without restricting movement. If you're between two sizes, the smaller size delivers the support a rashguard is built for; size up only if you want a looser, t-shirt-style wear.
  • The fabric is anti-bacterial Nylon/Spandex with quick-dry properties — it stretches with your range of motion and recovers shape after washing.
  • RG8 short sleeve and RG9 long sleeve use the same body measurements; only sleeve length and total length differ between cuts.
