Designed as IBJJF-legal grappling shorts with a 4-way stretch fabric and integrated lycra undershort.
Fit tip: Progress hybrid shorts fit a little tight by design — the velcro fly and drawcord pull in for a secure roll fit. If you prefer a looser fit (e.g., for fitness training or layering over compression spats), size up by one. The +/- 3 cm hand-cut tolerance means most grapplers near a band boundary will be comfortable either side.

How to measure
- Waist: measure around your natural waist where you'd normally wear your shorts (above the hip bones, not at the belly button). Pick the row that brackets your reading.
- Outside leg: if you want to check inseam length, measure from the top of your hip down the outside of your leg to where you want the shorts to sit (typically just above the knee for grappling).
- Between sizes: size down for competition (the drawcord and velcro will pull in any slack), size up for casual or fitness wear.
