Fit tip: a head guard should sit firmly without rocking or pressing into your temples. If you wear a mouthguard, take the measurement with your jaw closed and teeth together — your head expands slightly when clenched.

How to measure
- Use a soft tailor's tape, not a metal builder's tape.
- Wrap around the widest part of your skull — just above the brows and over the ears.
- Hold the tape snug but not compressing — it should rest where the head guard padding will sit.
- If you fall between two sizes, the bigger size leaves room for a head wrap or extra padding underneath.
