Kingz Absolute Premium BJJ Belt Size Guide
BJJ belts are length-sized to match your gi. Choose the same A-size as your Kingz gi — A1 belt for an A1 gi, A2 belt for an A2 gi, and so on. The chart below covers Kingz adult belt lengths for the standard A1–A4 scale and gives a rough body-height guide for context.

Belt length is measured tip-to-tip. A correctly-sized belt wraps the waist twice with each tail hanging roughly 15–20 cm (6–8 in) past the knot after tying. If you train at an academy with strict tail length rules, size down one slot for a shorter finish.
How to choose
- Match your gi size — the simplest rule. An A2 gi takes an A2 belt regardless of your exact body measurements. Husky and Long variants share the standard belt length.
- Tail length preference — if your current belt feels too long after tying, size down one slot. If too short to tie cleanly, size up.
- Cotton stretch — pearl-weave cotton belts stretch ~2–3 cm in the first month of training. Buy with that in mind if you're between sizes.
- Kids belts — use the kids belt range (sized M0–M4) for youth gis. The adult A1–A4 scale is for adult-cut gis only.
