Venum headguards are sized by head circumference for sparring protection across boxing, Muay Thai and MMA. Many models in the range come in a single universal size with adjustable straps covering 51-60cm (20-23.5 in), while others use the standard M/L/XL grading below — always check the individual product page to see which system the headguard you're choosing uses. Pair with gloves and shin guards from the Venum collection.
Fit tip: Some Venum headgear is one-size-fits-most with adjustable straps. Refer to individual product specifications for the exact sizing system on the model you want.
| Size | Head Circumference |
|---|---|
| M | 22 - 22.8 in |
| L | 23.2 - 24 in |
| XL | 24.4 - 25.6 in |
Venum's published values are in inches — multiply by 2.54 to convert to cm if needed.
How to measure
- Head circumference: Wrap a soft tape measure around your head, just above the eyebrows and ears, around the widest part of the back of the skull. Keep the tape level.
- Measure twice: Head circumference is easy to mis-measure if the tape isn't level — take two passes and use the larger of the two.
Not sure which size to pick? If between sizes, go up — a snug headguard restricts vision, and the chin and rear straps will cinch a slightly larger guard into a secure fit. We offer 30-day returns on unworn protective gear with tags attached. Browse the full Venum collection for matching gloves, shin guards and impact protection.
