Sandee Authentic Leather Boxing Gloves (Cool-Tec, Lace-Up, Velcro family) are full-grain cowhide Thai-style boxing gloves built in Thailand to a competition-grade standard. Sized by oz weight, with all weights sharing a similar internal volume and only padding density changing. Find more Sandee Thai boxing kit across the Sandee collection.
Fit tip: Sandee gloves are built on a wider Thai last — they fit broader hands than many Western brands. For bag and pad work go 10-12 oz; for sparring follow your bodyweight to oz convention or go up one band for partner protection. Sandee gloves have a forgiving wrist closure that accommodates most hand widths within a given oz.
| Glove Weight | Length | Width | Depth | Per-Glove Weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 oz | 34 cm | 17 cm | 14 cm | 0.57 kg |
| 12 oz | 34 cm | 17 cm | 14 cm | 0.68 kg |
| 14 oz | 36 cm | 17 cm | 14 cm | 0.79 kg |
| 16 oz | 36 cm | 17 cm | 14 cm | 0.91 kg |
How to choose oz weight
- 10-12 oz: Bag, pads, light sparring. Lighter feel for speed and feedback.
- 14 oz: Sparring (general). Adult Muay Thai standard.
- 16 oz: Sparring (heavyweight). Most UK MT gyms require 16 oz for adult sparring.
Not sure? We offer 30-day returns on unworn gloves with tags attached. Browse the full Sandee collection for matching Thai shorts, shin guards and head guards.
