Fit tip: Measure your waist where you naturally wear shorts — not at the narrowest point of your torso. Boxing groin guards are designed to fit over the hip bones, so the waist figure on the chart is the wear-line, not your trouser size.

How to measure
- Waist circumference — with a soft tape measure, wrap around your waist at the level you'd wear training shorts (around the top of the hip bones), not at the narrowest part of the torso.
- Between sizes — size up. A guard that's slightly loose is more comfortable than one that pinches; the Velcro waistband cinches in to compensate.
- Wear it over training shorts — most fighters wear their groin guard over base layers and under fight shorts. Account for that thickness when choosing.
