Use this guide to size your Hayabusa boxing gloves correctly. Fit is determined by hand circumference; glove weight (oz) is chosen for your body weight and intended training use. The same chart applies to the T3, T3D, S4, E1 and Marvel/Star Wars Hayabusa boxing-glove ranges sold at Made4Fighters — these all share Hayabusa's standard adult fit.

How to measure your hand

• Take a flexible tape measure and wrap it around your dominant hand at the knuckles (the widest part), with the tape level and your hand relaxed and open.
• Do not include the thumb in the measurement.
• If you are between two sizes, try both — most fighters prefer the snugger size for a more responsive feel under wraps.

• Bag work and pad work: 10 – 14 oz for responsive feedback on the bag and a faster glove. The Hayabusa T3D and S4 ranges are common bag picks.
• Sparring: 14 – 16 oz for most adults; 16 – 18 oz for heavier fighters. Sparring gloves should absorb shock for your partner, not just protect you. The T3 and E1 Sparring lines are designed for this.
• Competition: follow the rules of your governing body — typically 8 – 10 oz for professional bouts and 10 – 12 oz for amateur. Always check before fight night.

• If you are buying your first pair, prioritise the right weight for sparring before chasing a lighter bag glove — the heavier pair earns its keep first.
• Bodyweight is a starting point, not the rule. If you punch hard or are training for sparring you can move up one oz; lighter recreational users can move down.
