Pick your Elion glove weight by user bodyweight. Elion publishes a standard ounce-to-weight table that covers training, sparring and pad work for men, women and kids. Use this as a guide and ask your coach if you're between two ounces.
Fit tip: heavier ounces give more padding for sparring and conditioning; lighter ounces suit bag and pad work. When in doubt, size up for sparring — Elion gloves are hand-made in Thailand and the leather will shape to your hand over a few sessions.

How to measure
- Bodyweight: the primary input — Elion sizes gloves by user weight, not hand circumference. Choose the row that brackets your kilo weight.
- Training use: bag and pad work — pick the lower ounce in your range. Sparring — pick the higher ounce.
- Coach check: if your gym specifies a glove weight (most do for sparring — typically 14oz or 16oz), follow their rule first.

Elion have created a range of Boxing Gloves especially for fans of Akira Toriyama's cult manga and combat sports practitioners.
For a world first, the cult Manga and Shonen Dragon Ball Z, pillar of Manga culture around the world, is teaming up with ELION Paris, a sports brand specializing in boxing and combat sports equipment, to release a collection of 6 pairs of Limited edition boxing gloves in the colours of the iconic characters from the animated series.
Elion have created boxing gloves that represent the characters as faithfully as possible. So whether you are a fan of Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Frieza, Cell or Majin Buu, they have you covered.
The Arrogant Boxing Gloves is a brand new style for Elion. As the name suggested the Arrogant Boxing gloves was particularly intended for the most fierce and determined boxers in the practice of combat sports. Made from top-of-the-range full-grain Nappa leather providing increased resistance over time. The design is a combination of two colours of leather sewn together taking up the entire outline of the gloves for a striking and original style.
For Majin Buu, the 2 colours are a pale candy pink for the interior part as well as purple for the outline in reference to his cape. The Arrogant Majin Buu is fully dotted with small holes on the pink leather, reminiscent of the holes on Majin Buu's head and arms, letting out steam when angry. The striking are features the ELION logo resembling the colours of Majin's gaze.
The wrist strap is signed with the mythical embossed letter "M" recalls Majin Buu's belt, and on the inside the size is printed in a Dragon Ball Z style. The palm area is white, printed in pink colour the name of Majin Buu in Japanese. On the grip bar is mentioned in gold "Hungry Majin" referring to Majin Buu's insatiable appetite for all things sweets and pastries. The nylon interior is fully printed with 7 crystal balls while obviously retaining its anti-perspiration properties. Just below at the wrist is printed the portrait of Majin Buu.
The Arrogant range uses a new absorbent foam, meaning that these gloves protect your hands and metacarpals from all impacts during training. This doesn't make the glove too imposing or bulky. In addition and unlike the Elegant, we have added a palm reinforcement for effective hand protection.
For this Dragon Ball Z X ELION Paris limited edition, The Arrogant is delivered in its matte pearly white and hot-golden box opening in the centre and revealing the Spirit and Time Room, a place of training, in the background. mythical in which a year corresponds to a day on Earth.
Also included in this box is a pouch in candy pink velvet and breathable black mesh represented by the golden embroidered Dragon Ball Z X ELION Paris logo.
In the lower right corner is also embroidered the name of Majin Buu in Japanese.
