TUFF boxing gloves are sized in ounces and matched to a hand circumference and body-weight band. Pick the weight that suits your training type, then check that your hand circumference (measured around the widest part of your palm without a wrap) falls inside the corresponding range. How to choose your glove size
- Bag & pad work — 10-12oz suits lighter bodyweights and faster hand work; 14oz is the all-round Muay Thai pad-work standard.
- Sparring — 16oz is the M4F-recommended minimum for adult Muay Thai or boxing sparring regardless of bodyweight; many gyms require it.
- Hand size matters as much as bodyweight — if your hand circumference is at the top of one band and you wrap regularly, size up.
- Between sizes — go up. Padding compresses with use and a slightly roomy 16oz protects your knuckles and your partner.
