8 Weapons Shin Guards (Sak Yant Tiger, Unlimited, and signature lines) are full-coverage Muay Thai shin and instep guards with multilayered padding and neoprene insteps. Adult sizes M-XL by leg length; junior sizes (S/M, L/XL, XXL) span ages 4-10. Find matching 8 Weapons gear in the 8 Weapons collection.
Fit tip: 8 Weapons shin guards size by total leg length (knee to top of foot) rather than calf circumference — the dual Velcro straps and elastic foot loops handle width. If you sit between two sizes, size up for a more relaxed fit; size down for the tightest pad-round feel. Adult guards are sold as a pair, kids guards too.
| Size | Suits | Shin Length | Foot Length |
|---|---|---|---|
| S/M (Kids) | 4-6 years | 10 in (25.5 cm) | 6 in (15 cm) |
| L/XL (Kids) | 6-8 years | 12 in (30.5 cm) | 6.5 in (17 cm) |
| XXL (Kids) | 8-10 years | 14 in (35.5 cm) | 7 in (18 cm) |
| S (Adult) | ~160-170 cm | ~36 cm | ~22 cm |
| M (Adult) | ~170-180 cm | ~38 cm | ~23 cm |
| L (Adult) | ~180-190 cm | ~40 cm | ~24 cm |
| XL (Adult) | ~190+ cm | ~42 cm | ~25 cm |
Kids sizing is 8 Weapons' published chart (S/M, L/XL, XXL). Adult sizing follows the brand's standard cm-to-height convention used across the Sak Yant Tiger and Unlimited lines.
How to measure
- Shin length: Stand or sit with the leg bent slightly. Measure from just below the knee down to the top of the foot (where the instep flap will sit).
- Foot length: Place a tape on the floor against a wall, stand with the longest toe at the wall, read foot length for the instep flap coverage.
Not sure? We offer 30-day returns on unworn shin guards with tags attached. Browse the full 8 Weapons collection for matching MT shorts, gloves and rashguards.

Description
Description
Hanuman Yant artwork meets multi-layer impact protection in the 8 Weapons Hanuman Yant Shin Guards Black/Red — a premium synthetic-leather shin and instep guard built for hard Muay Thai and kickboxing training. The Hanuman Yant motif carries the warrior monkey's symbolism of courage and loyalty; the construction underneath delivers the protection you actually need during heavy sparring.
Dense multi-layer foam padding spreads the impact of heavy kicks across the shin and instep, while a neoprene flex panel at the instep gives the foot enough mobility to land kicks cleanly without the guard fighting your stride. Two wide hook-and-loop calf straps plus dual elastic foot bands keep the guard locked to the leg through scramble work, and the premium synthetic leather shell holds up to long-haul training without cracking. The black-and-red colourway with red Hanuman detailing stands out cleanly in the gym.
Main features:
- Multi-layer foam padding across shin and instep for serious impact absorption
- Neoprene flex panel at the instep for mobility through kicks
- Two wide hook-and-loop calf straps plus dual elastic foot bands for a locked fit
- Premium synthetic leather shell — vegan-friendly, long-lasting durability
- Hanuman Yant Sak Yant artwork — Thai symbol of courage and warrior spirit
- Available in four sizes from Small to XL
