Venum ankle supports are compression products that improve stability of the ankle joint and protect against impact during striking, grappling and MMA training. The fabric is elastic but not adjustable — sizing is driven by the circumference of your ankle. Some Venum ankle supports come in one universal size — check the individual product description before ordering. Browse the protective range in the Venum collection.
Fit tip: For increased compression and tighter support, opt for the smaller size in your range. For lighter compression and more comfort over long sessions, opt for the larger.
| Size | Ankle Circumference |
|---|---|
| S | 7.5 - 8.7 in |
| M/L | 9 - 10.2 in |
| XL | 10.6 - 11.8 in |
Venum's published values are in inches — multiply by 2.54 to convert to cm if needed.
How to measure
- Ankle circumference: Wrap a soft tape measure around the narrowest point of your ankle, just above the bony part of the ankle joint.
- Measure both ankles: They're often slightly different sizes. Use the larger measurement.
- Measure cold: If your ankle swells after training, measure before a session for the most useful baseline.
Not sure which size to pick? If you sit between S and M/L, go with M/L — you can always wrap tighter, but a small support that cuts circulation will get pulled off mid-round. We offer 30-day returns on unworn protective gear with tags attached. Browse the full Venum collection for shin guards, knee pads and impact protection.
