Leone 1947 head guards size on head circumference, not hat size. Wrap a soft tape around your forehead just above your eyebrows and ears — the widest point — and match it to the chart below, which combines Leone's S-L and S/M-L/XL guides into one easy reference.
Fit tip: a head guard should sit firmly without rocking or pressing into your temples. If you wear a mouthguard, take the measurement with your jaw closed and teeth together — your head expands slightly when clenched.
Leone 1947 Adult Headgear Size Guide
| Size | Head circumference (cm) |
|---|---|
| S | 52-54 |
| M | 55-58 |
| L | 59-61 |
How to measure
- Use a soft tailor's tape, not a metal builder's tape.
- Wrap around the widest part of your skull — just above the brows and over the ears.
- Hold the tape snug but not compressing — it should rest where the head guard padding will sit.
- If you fall between two sizes, the bigger size leaves room for a head wrap or extra padding underneath.
Every order ships with a 30-day return window if the fit needs adjusting. See the full Leone 1947 collection.
