The Fumetsu fight shorts range covers MMA-cut dual-layer fight shorts, looser training shorts and the women's-fit dual-layer line — Icon, Berserker, Anaconda, Origins, Dragon Slayer, Oni and Ghost MK2. All shorts are sized by waist measurement, from XS through XXL on the men's cut and XS through XL on the women's cut.

Fit tip: Fight shorts run true to waist. If you carry your weight slightly higher than your hips or prefer a looser fit for grappling exchanges, size up. The dual-layer construction stretches in slightly over the first few sessions.

How to measure

• Waist: Around your natural waistline at navel height, with no belt and breathing relaxed.
• Sit test: If you're between sizes and train mostly stand-up Muay Thai, take the lower size for a cleaner kick range; if you train MMA or BJJ, take the upper size for guard play.
