Fairtex Shin Pads Size Guide
Fairtex shin pads are sized by your height. All adult models (SP3 In-Step Double Padded, SP5 Competition, SP6 Neoprene, SP7 Twister, SP8 Ultimate) use the same S/M/L/XL height bands. Pad height and width vary slightly by model — check the per-model table if you want exact pad dimensions.
Adult sizing by height
| Size | Height (imperial) | Height (cm) |
|---|---|---|
| S | 4'11"–5'3" | 150–160 |
| M | 5'3"–5'10" | 160–179 |
| L | 5'10"–6'1" | 179–185 |
| XL | 6'1"–6'4" | 185–195 |
SP7 Twister starts at M (no S size). If you're at the lower end of the M height band and prefer a lower-profile pad, SP5 or SP6 in S is the better fit.

How to choose
- Height is the primary input — pick the height band first.
- Calf circumference — if your calves are larger than average, size up one band; if smaller, size down. The pad width column is a useful guide.
- Padding preference — SP5/SP8 are heavier-padded for sparring; SP6 neoprene is lightest for fitness/no-contact bag work; SP3 / SP7 sit in the middle for general training.
- SP7 Twister has a detachable in-step and is built for kickboxers who prefer foot mobility — same height bands as the others.
