The Axis V2 uses a synthetic leather shell with high-density EVA foam, full shin and instep coverage, and a sculpted shape that holds up to clinch work and ground transitions. Performer Carbon Evo — value multi-sport tier

The Performer Carbon Evo is the value tier at £32.99 — carbon-pattern graphics, multi-sport approved across Karate, Kickboxing, MMA, Muay Thai and Taekwondo, and elastic Universal sizing. Slightly lower padding density than the Axis V2 with a slimmer instep section. Available in Black/Black, Red/Black and Black/Blue. The right call for occasional sparring, technique drills, multi-discipline gyms, or as a backup pair to a premium set.

Picking your Bytomic shin guard

For adult MMA fighters training three to five sessions a week, the Axis V2 is the right call — denser foam, longer service life, fewer cosmetic abrasions over a season of regular use.
