Bravose Head Gear Size Guide
Bravose head guards run in two sizes — Small/Medium and Large/X-Large — covering the full adult head-circumference range. Pick by head circumference first and body weight second. A head guard that's too loose moves on impact and can obscure your vision; one that's too tight pressures the temples and ear cups.
| Measurement | Small / Medium | Large / X-Large |
|---|---|---|
| Head circumference (inches) | 20.9 – 22.4 | 22.8 – 25.2 |
| Head circumference (cm) | 53 – 57 | 58 – 64 |
| Body weight | Up to 165 lbs | 165 lbs & over |
How to measure your head
- Head circumference — take a soft tape measure and run it around the largest part of your head: across the forehead about half an inch above the eyebrows, around the back over the widest curve, and back to the start. Keep the tape flat and snug, not tight.
- Sit between sizes? Size up. A slightly larger head guard adjusts down with the rear strap; a too-tight head guard cannot be loosened past the moulded shell.
- Fearless Kids Head Guard — the junior model is sold as a one-size XS designed for children 4-10 years old. Adjustable rear strap accommodates a typical junior head size; outside that range a small/medium adult guard with the strap fully tightened may be a better fit.
