Aldo Vs. McGregor at UFC 194

Posted by Made4Fighters on 8th Dec 2015

It’s been nearly five months since their initially scheduled bout, which turned out to be little more than a rehearsal owing to Jose Aldo’s late withdrawal; but the time is almost upon us to finally witness the much-anticipated Aldo Vs. McGregor UFC Featherweight title fight. Here at Made4Fighters we’re going to gear up once again for this main event clash, which will still be happening at the historic MGM Arena in Vegas.

Here’s how the two now stack-up heading into UFC 194:

What’s changed since July 11th

In terms of attitudes, not a great deal.

McGregor, now the interim UFC Featherweight champion has only strengthened his position as one of the most charismatic, divisive characters in the world of combat sports. Chad Mendes was given the opportunity of a lifetime to face McGregor after Aldo dropped out of UFC 189, and despite a good showing, McGregor was able to end the matter in round 2 via TKO.

As the current reigning, defending Featherweight champion, Jose Aldo’s road to recovery will finalise in Vegas on the night of the 12th, and he will look to make true to his promise to “run over McGregor” and unify the two title belts.

What the bookies are saying

Unsurprisingly, McGregor is still a heavy favourite; he has continued his dominant streak by chalking up a victory against stand-in replacement, Chad Mendes, at the show he and Aldo were originally penned to headline. Aldo fans will argue that he represents fantastic value in the market, and is just as dangerous as ever despite his injury setback.

Your picks

McGregor was heading into UFC 189 as a strong favourite for this bout, and was liked by many fight fans to roll over Jose Aldo. Has your mind changed since then? Let us know by either leaving a comment below or getting in touch with Made4Fighters on social media.
